More than serving on a board, it is an opportunity to grow the game, strengthen Wisconsin hockey communities, create unforgettable experiences, and help build a tradition that can impact generations to come.

At-Large Board Members serve as voting members and provide strategic leadership, oversight, and support for Hockey Day Wisconsin.

At-Large Members are encouraged to bring their individual professional expertise and community relationships to the organization. Ideal board composition should include individuals with backgrounds or connections in areas such as:

Hockey leadership
Business and entrepreneurship
Finance and accounting
Fundraising and philanthropy
Marketing and media
Legal and governance
Event management
Community development
Corporate partnerships
Nonprofit leadership

The goal is to build a diverse Board with complementary skills, perspectives, and relationships.

Serving on the Hockey Day Wisconsin Board should be viewed as an active leadership position rather than an honorary title.

Board members are not expected to manage every operational detail of Hockey Day Wisconsin.

They are, however, expected to participate, contribute their expertise, open doors when possible, support the organization, and help move its mission forward.
